Who is responsible

What this website does

This website sets no cookies, loads nothing from third parties and uses no tracking script. Its fonts and files come from its own server.

Server logs

The hosting provider, Namecheap, Inc., runs the website on a server in the EU. For each request the server stores the requesting IP address, the time, the page requested, the response and the browser identification, and produces visit statistics from these logs. We use them to run and secure the website and to see how often its pages are visited (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept for as long as the hosting provider's standard retention lasts.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we use your message and your contact details to answer you and to prepare and carry out a business relationship (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Emails stay in our mailbox for as long as the enquiry and the business relationship need them.

Transfers outside the EU

Desert Bounty is based in Egypt, so what you send us is processed in Egypt.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, receive it in a common format, and object to its use. Write to info@desertbounty.net. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
